Facebook has officially launched Facebook Home and lets FacebookHome available to download on Google Play. Although, Facebook Home is only available for Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, HTC One X and HTC One X+ and even only in US. Installing Facebook Home on any Android Devices
Follow the instructions given below to install Facebook Home on your Android Phone. Here is how to install Facebook Home and make it available on your Android Device.
Step 1. Downloading APK File
You need to download Facebook Home APK files in order to make your Android device compatible to Facebook Home.
- Download these two APK Files and save it on your Computer [Link 1] [Link 2].
- Once you have downloaded the APK Files, now you need to extract RAR file to your computer.
- Add a micro SD card to your computer and move the APK file you have extracted to this card.
Step 2. Uninstalling Original Facebook Apps
- Make sure you have uninstalled original Facebook, Facebook messenger and Facebook apps from your mobile.
- If you have pre-installed Facebook apps on your device, you probably need to root your device to remove these apps.
Step 3. Installing Facebook Home App
Once you have downloaded APK files and uninstalled the original Facebook apps from your Android device, you have almost done. Now follow the instruction below to install it on your Android phone. Make sure you are installing these APK files from your micro SD card.
- Install com.facebook.katana (Facebook Application) first.
- Now install com.facebook.home (Facebook Home App) and install.facebook.orce.apk (Facebook Messenger App).
- Now you need to enable Facebook Home under Facebook app settings.
